Large Bathrooom
Selecting the right bathroom fan depends on the cubic feet per minute (CFM) needed for your bathroom. The first steps are to calculate the square footage of your bathroom, and then measure the ceiling height. The square footage of your bathroom will be multiplied by a factor depending on the height of the ceiling. 8-foot ceilings use a multiple of 1.1, 9-12 foot ceilings use a multiple of 1.25 and higher ceilings use a multiple of 1.5. Many large bathrooms will require a bathroom fan with between 100 and 130 CFM. These fans will quietly move a great deal of air to help circulate air and prevent moisture damage.
